Gwen Stefani Might Choose No Doubt Over L.A.M.B. This Fashion Week

One of our favorite celebrity clothing designers may not be taking the bow at her upcoming runway show during New York Fashion Week next month.

However, Gwen Stefani has a pretty good excuse–she’ll (possibly) be in Los Angeles finishing up No Doubt’s first new album in 10 years, which we are so excited about that we’re pretty sure we can forgive her. Plus, with three clothing lines (including Harajuku Mini which launches at Target in November), two fragrances, and Zuma, she has a lot on her plate.

A spokesperson for L.A.M.B. told Page Six, “Given the extraordinary demands of working on three fashion lines while also finishing a new record, it is hard to say whether she will be able to attend the actual presentation in New York next month.”

This makes us wonder how important Gwen Stefani’s presence at her show really is. L.A.M.B. shows are always entertaining in their own right, but the spring 2012 collection will have a little less star power without its designer there. This No Doubt album better be good!

No Doubt eBay Gear Sale

To make room for new stuff, No Doubt’s touring crew recently went through the band’s warehouse and cleared out a bunch of gear, equipment and props the band no longer need. These items are being listed on eBay HERE by seller dvamp2u (the only legitimate seller of this gear). A number of items such as amplifiers, keyboards, rack/outboard gear, guitar effects, pedal boards, staging, props, back drops and road cases will be listed over the next few weeks. Check the eBay page regularly for new listings. Unless specified, we cannot identify which (if any) tour these items are from, nor can we accommodate any requests to get items autographed or authenticated (please do not ask). More information can be found in the descriptions of each item.

Everything will be sold at no reserve. We cannot accommodate any requests to have items autographed and no certificate of authenticity will be included.

Gwen Is On 3 Covers For “Elle”

On April 12, the annual Women in Music issue of Elle Magazine will be on newsstands featuring Gwen Stefani on the cover. Gwen did the photo shoot in New York with photographer Dusan Reljin who helped create three different versions of the cover for the special May issue. The annual Women in Music issue of Elle U.S. also features Adele, Robyn, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine and Jennifer Hudson to name a few. Gwen will be hosting an event to raise additional money for Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund. This exclusive experience will be hosted by Gwen personally and is available only through this auction. In addition to the event auction, Gwen has designed a limited edition Harajuku Lovers t-shirt that is available for purchase immediately. Other auction items will include vintage L.A.M.B. items straight from Gwen’s closet and limited edition t-shirts with special custom labels, signed and numbered by Gwen.
